Elizabeth O’Connor

Social Worker / Therapist

Throughout my life, I have seen how disparity and injustice can wreak havoc in the lives of others. This gave me a profound desire to help those who seek it as a social worker and a therapist. I value courage, kindness, integrity and growth. Courage in doing what you believe needs to be done, kindness in treating others the way you want to be treated, integrity by acting and speaking as you believe, and growth because the more you know the better you can help others to grow. Which constitutes my philosophy as I invite my clients to take a risk and discover their purpose in life.
It takes a strong person to admit that they need help, each with a different story that needs to be told. My role is to guide them towards leading a meaningful life by upholding their interests and values. I strive to be present in the moment to best understand where they are coming from in order to project how best to move forward with treatment. The therapeutic process is meant to significantly inspire change that encompasses thoughts and behaviors as regards the overall experience of being human including relationships.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
